After his first rave experience in 1992 in Toronto, he started to release music under the name of Nerve. Together with digilick, they formed the laptop electronic music project VSOP in 2001. His first opera premiered in Hong Kong in 2010. He started to practice Cantonese Naamyam in 2013, and joined the experimental art group Twenty Alpha in 2017.
