SNKLS is a DJ and producer from Clermont-Ferrand, active member of POLAAR since its creation as well as of the Le French Work collective, a squad of French artists inspired by fast club music such as footwork and ghetto tech.
SNKLS is revealed in the late 90s by starting to mix techno and jungle in many raves, before embarking on music production by joining Creation Forge, a label founded by Josy and 69db.
Spotted by Flore in 2014, SNKLS then joined the POLAAR team by producing two titles for the compilation “Territoires Vol. 1 ”, a project supported by many renowned DJs and praised by the press. Then, he took part in the creation of Le French Work, appearing on each of the collective’s compilations.
In recent years, we have also heard SNKLS become more involved in the Club Late Music label, with songs produced in collaboration with its colleague Soft Matter, or by composing “Ripple” for the collaborative project “Chain of Whispers”, designed on the same principles as those of the telephone game.Currently curator on one of the future Global Url Nation X Club Late Music projects, where he continues his descent into the abyss of audio production.
