ermhoi from salvaged tapes – 16/08/24

ermhoi is a Tokyo based trackmaker and singer with roots in both Japan and Ireland. Her first album “Junior Refugee” was release from Salvaged tapes records in 2015. Since then, she has been working on a wide range of activities not bound by genre or style, such as composing music for illustrators, fashion brands, movies, and TV commercials, and supporting as a vocalist and chorus. In 2018, she formed black boboi with Utena Kobayashi and julia shortreed. She has performed with International artists such as Eiko Ishibashi, Phew, Foodman, Jim O’Rourke, Klain, Sen Morimoto, Harunemuri, Ibeyi Codeine.

The People’s Avant-Garde w: pierino – 14/08/24

Born in Lebanon, where the vibrant music scene of my hometown served as the backdrop to my early years. Growing up, I was fascinated by the way music could evoke emotions and bring people together. My parents introduced me to various genres, from classic rock to jazz, but it was electronic music that truly captivated me. After I leveled up my music knowledge with @willilah each performance I gained more confidence and refined my craft. I began playing at larger venues and with one of the best managements in Lebanon @ekstasis.leb thanks to @sasmusicc_. As I continue to evolve as an artist, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of electronic music. My future projects include exploring new genres, producing original tracks, and expanding my reach to new audiences. Thank you for having me <3

深圳 OIL Soundsystem 核心成员，Turmoil 派对的幕后推手之一，刚搬到上海的她，常往返活跃于两地场景。Sirens将民族和根源音乐作为底色，Tribal House，UK Bass 和 Club 等标签在她的混沌能量中形成了独有的风格。偏爱用各式各樣异域聲音蠱惑人心，在部落多变的原始律動与迴蕩的低音中展开小塞壬们未知又神秘的冒险。参与支持过的国际嘉宾包括
DJ SWISHA, Toccororo, Objekt, Le Motel, DJ Nigga Fox, DJ Plead, Doon Kanda, Safety Trance 等。舞池外，她是 Siren’s Lighthouse 乐队主唱，同时也是 ModernSky LAB 的宣传企划。

A core member of Shenzhen’s OIL Soundsystem and one of the driving forces behind the Turmoil parties, she has recently moved to Shanghai and frequently travels between the two cities’ scenes. Sirens blends ethnic and root music as its foundation, creating a unique style from Tribal House, UK Bass, and Club labels amidst her chaotic energy. She favors using various exotic sounds to captivate listeners, embarking on mysterious adventures with shifting tribal rhythms and resonant bass. She has supported international guests including DJ SWISHA, Toccororo, Objekt, Le Motel, DJ Nigga Fox, DJ Plead, Doon Kanda, and Safety Trance.

Outside the dance floor, she is the lead singer of Siren’s Lighthouse band and also works in publicity and planning at ModernSky LAB.

Bakongo would have EP’s once every so often in the mix of RKS label releases for Roska. Bakongo would see more of a request in favour of styles LA based record label Pink Turban. 2019 saw Wayne wanting to change his style and focus more on Bakongo adding elements of Techno, Tribal House and keeping the genre bending elements we’re used to hearing into one.
