“To Be Continued…HK ” is an improvisational comedy theatre company performing and teaching short/long-form improv styles, and offering improv-led corporate training. TBC HK is founded on 3 core principles:

Vincent Yuen Ruiz (b 1990) is known for being a double bass player who evolves primarily in the field of free improvisation and jazz., while being active in various musical settings ranging from classical contemporary music to electronic music. He is the former double bass player of the minimalist/experimental trio Plaistow and has been a member of the Insub Meta Orchestra since 2017. Now living between Copenhagen and Geneva, his latest work has been a study in patience, a focus on repetition and the interaction between timbres and resonances. A certain idea of stillness often leads his sonic explorations, as well as giving a narrow framework to his improvisational style. With a minimalism bordering on reductionism, Yuen Ruiz mixes tonal melodies and textural approaches. He works both as a solo artist and with various ensembles.

@PAPERBRIDGEEE and PORTABLE are the courier psyches of LIGHT LOGISTICS, the artist-run delivery unit of #DisplayDistribute. As a support to the sociopolitical engagements of independent publishing from East and Southeast Asia, their dispatches most often contain the counter-hegemonic knowledges and practices carried by the Display Distribute distro. Not independent from the ebbs of the biopolitically diseased era, however, it appears that the books and bodies of PAPERBRIDGEEE and PORTABLE will remain quite stationary for some time. To enrich their idleness, they decide to embark upon an internal reflection of their work over the last years by literally opening up boxes, reading together, and allowing the blown waters of inefficiency to reevaluate other forms of movement under the shadows of global infrastructure.

Korea Town Acid (Jessica Cho) is an electronic artist at her core, but that barely scratches the surface of what her sound encompasses.Born in Seoul and based out of Toronto, KTA experiments with soundscapes while keeping to her classically trained foundations. Over the past decade has garnered global attention, she has showcased in Seoul, New York, Athens, Berlin, London, Helsinki, and Canada. Notable appearances include: RBMA, MUTEK, Boiler Room and Plissken Festival and remains a monthly online residency at The Lot Radio in New York and joins new residency on HKCR for a new show “Coping Mechanisms”, focusing on abstract and experimental sonic pallets.
