Mos “The search is what anyone would undertake if he were not sunk in the everydayness of his own life. To become aware of the possibility of the search is to be onto something. Not to be onto something is to be in despair.” – Walker Percy, The Moviegoer Over the past few years, Mos has established a distinctive voice within the electronic music community. For his young age Mos’s sound and ideals resonate in the people. The search for a stronger community, the desire to improve. As he is a native New Yorker growing up in Brooklyn, he provides an confident perspective on the what rules to follow and… which to break. His approach behind the decks relies heavily on his personal memories and the impact music had on him throughout his life. As a child listening to Gaurav Mazumdar and his sitar, spending my first birthday at Jazz fest. Coming of age in New York with rap, rnb, and rock. Then later leading into electronic then Techno at underground raves around the globe spanning from Ukraine to Utah USA. Mos makes up part of an exciting new generation of young artists coming out of New York City. In Mos’s selection you will find a mix of old and new allowing for an interesting dynamic to appear within the music. Something that wasn’t common practice for DJ’s two decades ago has become engrained into Mos’s creative process. Mos always conducts a in depth research into the artists he plays. Music is Mos’s way of storytelling and the story doesn’t begin with a new song it begins much earlier in the process a person a feeling. Mos began his career far from home while studying in Italy. In Rome he landed a residency at Rashomon Club with “Resistance is Techno” Since then he has played at venues across Germany and USA, through solo performances and frequent collaborations with Annie Lew. In March of 2024 Mos was invited to play BASEMENT. Following his debut he was invited twice more in 2024. Pride weekend B2B with Annie Lew then November 2nd. Mos plays frequently with Infra Boston in the USA. In Berlin he has been heard at ÆDEN KitKat and frequently at Baalsaal in Hamburg. There’s a deeply personal connection Mos has to playing music. When the room is all ebbing and flowing as one, his style really breaks into the listeners mind. As Mos would say “Dreaming in my sounds” aka, speaking my language.
Dj Killing:
Berlin-born DJ Killing grew up immersed in music. His diverse musical upbringing shaped his love for electronic sounds early on. In 2018, he started DJing at gallery events, blending house and disco, and soon joined the After School Radio collective, where he honed his genre-bending style. Becoming a key figure in Berlin’s queer nightlife, DJ Killing has played iconic venues like Ficken3000, RSO, Tresor and Berghain. In 2023 he co founded “Royal Highness” daytime parties, known for creating an inclusive space that celebrates queer culture and experimental sounds, helping shape the future of Berlin’s underground scene
