“你好，香港。我很高兴向世界发布这个特殊的混音!
I’m beyond excited to share my first public radio mix on @hkcronline.
Few of my friends know that aside from playing fast music for the crowd I’m a big time fan of classical and instrumental arrangements. This one-hour tale named «Softest Place on Earth» combines brilliant composers such as my all-time favourite Iranian kamancheh genius Saba Alizadeh and pianist Peyman Yazdanian, Tunisian treasure Dhafer Youssef, Ethiopian enigma Emahoy Tsegué Maryam Guèbrou, Western Armenian multi-instrumentalist Arto Tunçboyacıyan, traditional Turkic (Başqort and Tatar) flute quray, contemporaries Joanna Newsom, Oliver Coates, LEYA and many others, including such experimental electronic luminaries as Klein, Space Afrika, Klara Lewis and even the mighty Derrick May.
The only track that features any lyrics comes as the closure of my moist orchestral lullaby: Stephan Micus sings in the language that does not exist, but perpetrates my soul in a way the sweetest poem could never. Enjoy.
