Bedouin Records: ENOUGH! – 31/05/2024
Mayss/Dreaming Live presents the first of three mixes, from the compilation “ENOUGH,” raising money for the Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund in Gaza. Dr. Ghassan had volunteered extensively in Gaza throughout multiple crises. During this genocide, he worked in both Al-Ahli and Shifa hospitals. He was a survivor of the Ahli Hospital bombing which killed hundreds. His press conference outside of the hospital, surrounded by dead bodies, will be etched in our memories forever. He has now established a Children’s Fund which aims to treat injured children, rebuild the destroyed medical infrastructure, and establish a sponsorship program for 20,000+ orphans from the conflict.

About The Mixtape
“Basically this mixtape has a very nostalgic vibe of the songs that we grew up listening to with a sprinkle of vibe towards the incidents that we have to criticize on a daily basis as living a queer lifestyle in Indonesia.
We believe that every little amount of queer joy saves life. It’s pretty hard these days for us because generally the government puts us in my pervisibility as the Presidential Election is coming up next year and it is used as an issue by the political parties to gain votes – religion has a strong value in this country and it affects the moral compass that the system wants. A Large number of people from different islands in this country are experiencing queer migration to Bali during the pandemic. These issues and gentrification of tourism affected our community’s stability in many different aspects, including the little amount of venues that can contain queer nightlife that leads to more homophobia, queerphobia, and classism of nightlife entertainment.
We try to create our way to thrive through creating a memorable set
that is funny and banging, as genuine queer raves for the community
are not happening so often.”

Bedouin Records w/ Wará – 01/12/2023
Wará is the nickname of Fran Mora, a Sevillian music producer known for his dark and mysterious techno-industrial style who also publishes as /beyond/. Founder of the Urban legend label in 2014, he leaves us multiple references that transport the listener to the most melancholic and raw side of the music of our time. His first work, Luna Verde, is a 12-inch EP in which the Andalusian artist traces a captivating sound map of Raval, a charismatic neighborhood of Barcelona where an important Arab community resides and where the artist connects with his roots. This project was presented at MIRA FESTIVAL accompanied by the audiovisual work of UnSeen Av m based on the analog photography of Teresa Espada chemically manipulated by Raúl Hidalgo. His DJ sets spill a magma of industrial and futuristic noises that intermingle with organic
sounds, broken rhythms and Arabic murmurs. He has released the compilation “Purging Realities Part 1” on the Liber Null Berlin label and we have been able to see him at major events such as ADE Amsterdam, Tresor Berlin, Dominant, Moog or Razzmatazz. In his latest work “Muharib”, he pays tribute to the women of the Arab world, inspired by his continuous visits to Morocco, this work has recently been presented in Mexico City and San Diego. He is currently working on his next release “Naja” which will be inspired by the aisauuas or snake charmers, a classic figure in Moroccan lands.
