Born and raised in Istanbul, based in Berlin since 2019, DJ Regret cut his teeth in Istanbul’s small but intense Punk and Hardcore scene at a young age. After discovering the city’s one and only underground club Pixie made him fall in love with Jungle, Drum & Bass and early rave sounds at the first sight. He found himself mixing tunes at many local parties as well as organising them later on.

Curiosity always pushed him to expand his taste and discover different sounds with different backgrounds and stories behind them. After moving to Berlin, it was the time for him to unleash the Techno and Acid demons inside. Pretty much influenced by UK Acid Techno and free-party culture, it is very possible to expect 909s and 303s with breakbeats and ravey textures from DJ Regret’s sets nowadays. As a dedicated crate-digger, he adopts a playful mixing style and likes to mash up a dance.

DJ Regret also runs the party series Ausländerbehörde since 2021 in Berlin.

“DJ Performance” invites you on an immersive audio journey through electrifying electro break beats, infused with dystopian darkness and robotic intricacies. He skillfully intertwines dystopian elements, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that transcends time and space.
