Leiiila Biography:
Originally from Lanzhou, northwest China, Leiiila is
now based in Beijing as a DJ and a member of the
Beijing Jungle Expedition Team (P.J.E.T.). Founded in
2023 by three young artists united by their love for
Jungle music, P.J.E.T. has since expanded to nine
members, representing diverse backgrounds and a shared
commitment to underground sound.
Leiiila’s DJ journey was born from her deep-rooted
passion for Jungle and Drum & Bass, inspiring her to
bring the raw energy of the Amen Break to her
audiences. As an active DJ in Beijing’s underground
electronic music scene, she’s navigating her own way
through Breakbeat, UK Bass, UK Garage, Jungle,
Footwork and Drum & Bass. Ever on a quest to create
her microcosm, Leiiila continuously explores new
subgenres and adventurous sounds to shape her unique
musical identity.
