Brian Thabault is a Producer & DJ based in New York City. He co-founded the label Tri Music Group as outlet to self release music. In addition to releasing music under his own name, he also releases as Spin Department with his label partner Tessub. Over the last five years Brian has been developing and performing a unique live set that involves improvised arrangements of all original work. His live set sound can range from ambient and downtempo, to groovy house and even breakbeat and high energy techno. Brian also finds creative expression through DJing where his sound is also wide ranging and diverse.

In the past few years Brian has played some of the most well regarded parties in and clubs in NYC including ReSolute, Cityfox & Elsewhere.

Brian also runs a monthly live event called Co/Function which features a rotating lineup of live acts collaborating on a fully improvised night of electronic music.

This is a re-recording of a recent set played for TOWER by @epicvirgomoment, @donna_tarrt_novel & male_merge. TOWER is a Brooklyn-based building function and a development of Framework, a forthcoming label launching at the end of 2024.

This mix is about drama. Lots of echo and vocal rounding, heavy shapeless downtempo with dub, reggaeton, DnB notes throughout. Put this on in the rain and slide down the walls.  

Henry R, formerly known as Der Kindestod, is a boundary-pushing artist who encapsulates the enigmatic, psychedelic realm of southern Texas. Having left an indelible mark on the scene, Henry R released mixes and an EP with Halcyon Veil in 2018, followed by another EP under Ascetic House in 2020. His music conjures a surreal, ever-changing soundscape that defies easy categorization. Currently based in New York, Henry R continues to experiment and evolve his unique sonic vision, captivating audiences with his distinctive approach to music that transcends traditional boundaries.

Jetty is Nathan; he lives in NYC but is from Houston (and Tennessee). Most of his music is self-released, besides a couple tracks on TT (London). Nathan AKA Jetty runs a net-label – “Gone Baby” and throws events in Texas, Louisiana, and New York under the Mystic Stylez production brand.

This mix was an attempt at a dancefloor set – a bit tame though.
