The 4th installment of 417hz Ana Roman (Fokus Global) features BASHO in the first 30 minutes, followed by Roman. BASHO is a DJ and promoter from Mexico City. Their music combines percussive and experimental rhythms from underground genres, providing an immersive experience. Basho draws inspiration from Latin and queer communities, shaping their unique style, leading them to perform at various underground electronic venues and parties in Mexico, such as Yu Yu, Por Detroit, Lapi, Club Colima, Sic, and Bar Oriente, and to present mixes at various other platforms, including The Lot Radio, HKCR, Internet Public Radio, Radio Alhara, and more. They are an artist who values experimentation and constantly seeks new ways to express their creativity and emotions through music. Their sets reflect a dedication to fostering a more inclusive and diverse electronic scene. Additionally, Basho is involved in managing a management agency called Tumulto, which focuses on nurturing and elevating Latin American artists and projects within the industry.
Ana Roman (Fokus Global) is a producer, sound designer, and multi-disciplinary-generative artist. The 417hz series is a chance for Ana to
showcase love for the more deconstructed and experimental sound design elements of music. Roman producers under the pseudonym of Skulptor. They are deeply embedded in future-sound design, A.I. tools, and creative coding. Right now Ana is busy producing and generating both bio-organic and A.I. trained sounds as a member of the A.I. AR/VR collective: Sound Obsessed. They release under Juke Bounce Werk, Mechanical Tapes, and Fokus Global.
