asvany / HUNGARY 

asvany’s music is symptomatic of the digital/online music cultures that lurk in the black waters of Soundcloud profiles and NYP Bandcamp uploads: tough genreless beats break the surface of emotional maturity and instability, launching from hybrid-club workouts to ambient gabber with dashes of breakcore percussion littering the background. On their latest EP “Igric”, asvany teamed up with fellow countryman SUTA to conjure childlike wonder and restlessness through euphoric melodies and ever-changing drum passages. You could also find asvanyviz2’s music on different compilations released by 111records, formforum, Exiles Electronics, and 00effort.

As a nature lover, she focuses on environmental, social, and human rights issues, as well as the connection between mental states and nature, exploring the interplay between society and the natural world. Each track arrangement reflects her current inner state, using music to express thoughts and emotions.

Not limited to a single genre, her performances are capable of creating unique and distinctive musical atmospheres. She has performed in galleries, bars, music festivals, and party dance floors. Passionate about nature, she collaborated with Taiwan’s nature-inspired music label ANKR, producing a Field Mix by sampling sounds from the mountains to create ambient mixes. She excels at weaving emotionally powerful narratives into her sets, favoring quirky experimental elements intertwined with intense emotions. Her music selections often reveal restless energy and multifaceted musicality. Currently, she is a resident host on Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR), where her show, ζETACORE, focuses on discovering experimental sounds, strong emotion flow and hard drum beats. She is now immersed in her music production with actively exploring diverse music scenes, and continuously expanding her creative horizons.
