Glass Bystander comes from Shanghai producer Ning Cheng’s personal electronic music project. The name of the project symbolizes the fragile care between people and the strong spectator psychology. He is accustomed to using a series of percussive subtle pulses of sound and aggressive noise to integrate the fragments of inspiration he gets from human society, nature and other environments, and reconstruct the reality he observes, which fills his music with a unique atmosphere. As the president of zaaang (臟), an underground electronic music club based in Shanghai, he is contributing in his own way to the new era of underground electronic music soundscape.
