Representing Southern California, Funkopops is a major fan of collecting and spinning vinyl, specifically 80s and modern funk, future rnb, and new jack swing. All in all, really anything that has a catchy beat and can blend well on the turntables. As a resident DJ for Radio Free Brooklyn and Longplay Hifi, and an overall active community member, he enjoys building relationships with people from various backgrounds and advocates for spreading the love of music. Former notable guest mixes include: The Lot Radio, Hyde FM, Kpiss FM, Newtown Radio, C/C Radio Barcelona, and Motown on Mondays. Funkopops is excited to bring Hong Kong Community Radio a taste of Tanoshii Funk- a show inspired by Tanoshii Nights, an anime import car meet.
