BIO: Amanda Koontz is a multidisciplinary artist focusing on being behind the decks and visual arts based out of Austin, Texas. A Shared Frequencies Radio resident, she’s been DJing since 13 years old and working on her first EP production. Koontz found techno deep inside the clubs while living in Chicago, Illinois on a journey of House music discovery. It’s aggressive, but melodic energy helps her cope with her bipolar highs and lows. Driving, industrial, melodic, leftfield—she loves all subgenres with a liking to take audiences by surprise. IG
