Bøne Broth w/ SIMII – 27/07/2024

Sampriti, who goes by the stage name SIMII, is a Singer, songwriter, producer and a DJ based in Goa. Her music is a unique blend of Afro, Amapiano, Disco, House, and Drum and Bass. Born in Guwahati Assam, her love for music took root at an early age. The journey into the world of DJing began as a hobby, but it quickly transformed into a lifelong passion.

Simii’s dedication to crafting intricate and groovy sets has earned her a dedicated following and respect among peers in the music industry. Simii has recently released a liquid drum and bass track called “Rush Hour”, which is out on all major music streaming platforms. Along with that she’s producing her first EP which is set to release towards the end of November.

For the fourth episode, bluebubble once again invites Chiro, who now resides in Berlin, to be a guest on the radio show. She will share some of her ongoing explorations into raw, percussive dance tracks.

R9FIA Radio w/ Swimful – 14/05/2024

Swimful is a Northumbrian producer whose work encompasses the outer limits of grime and club music.

Cutting his teeth in Shanghai’s now-legendary venue The Shelter, Swimful’s sound was shaped in the city’s club scene as part of the emergent SVBKVLT crew. Spurred on by support from the UK’s Boxed crew, his first release on SVBKVLT, 2016’s PM2.5, was played extensively on stations like Rinse FM and Radio 1.

Production for vocalists continued in the intervening period, honing the blissful cloud rap edges that began when Swimful was producing tracks for Lil B and Main Attrakionz while still in school. 2019’s “Folding Knives” was a meeting between this early approach and newfound club sensibilities, with lead single “Agony” refracting dancehall and afroswing through the lens of noise-washed shoegaze.

In 2022, Swimful returned to SVBKVLT with the “Rushlight” EP – a club-collision of drill and amapiano – and started a residency on Rinse FM, where he showcases his own productions alongside cutting-edge sounds from Shanghai and beyond.

We have the honor to record a mix with Dina, meanwhile she is in town, NeoTenochtitlan a.k.a. Ciudad de México.
Dina is an LA-based DJ and creative, born and raised in Los Angeles. Surrounded by the creative arts, Dina developed a strong liking for DJing, design and photography. With an eclectic taste and a passion for blending genres, Dina’s sets are a journey through global sounds, including Reggaeton, Dembow, Baile Funk, Hip-Hop, Club edits, and more. Dina DJs at esteemed parties, festivals, and showcases across Los Angeles and the country, including Boiler Room, EDC, Camp Flog Gnaw, Pangea Sound, Nocturnal Wonderland, Reggaetonlandia and more. She co-founded her own world music dance party, ¡BAILE!, and is also part of the Jose Cuervo Tequila DJ collective.
And the perfect complement to this experiment was Soramountz 1/2 of Club Cadera, he gave the spicy groove to the show.
