Baby Diwata is a Manila born DJ, artist, and multi-disciplinary creative who began her sonic journey in Hong Kong. Her genre-fluid selections are tender yet unrelenting – an unorthodox mix of Deconstructed Club, Hard Dance, Baile Funk, Ambient, and Hyperpop sad girl remixes.
In both her sound and image, Baby Diwata embodies androgyny and challenges herself to constantly transcend binaries. Unafraid to push the boundaries of club music, she continues to experiment with alternative genres, fusing soft and melancholic melodies with distorted and heavy hitting bass lines to nurture a soundscape that taps into the deepest burrows of her queer and feminine identity.
On her latest mix, she channels her Lethal Fantasy with hard, seductive beats. Her weapon of choice being a selection of high BPM Deconstructed Club, Gabber, Baile Funk, Jungle, Breaks, and Ambient.
