RIP DIEGO ❤️🇦🇷 Our Artwork For Our Final Show Of 2020 is dedicated to one of the greatest ever. Rest in Power Mr Maradona. 

For the finale we wanted to return to the original concept of East Meets West with a Japan x U.K. Crossover. Over the last year, a talented DJ and producer had caught our eye with his versatile style and taste – Kyoto’s weapon Stones Taro. He will be representing his label NC4K. One’s who music we really like too. From the U.K., we have someone who will fuel your tanks up with his exquisite eye for UKG nuggets. Man like BP. ‘The 3rd Instalment of the DimSumRecords East West Flavour Show sees us go up North in the U.K. To Link up with key collective of the Leeds UKG community NORTHERN DIVISION 

Consisting of a dream line up of Hurrell, Peaky, Pinder. All three who have been individually making serious movements – come together to fuse their talent together. With some exciting projects together like an EP – Northern Division formed shortly after they all played together at the Peaky a Beats Record launch party with Alex T (RIP) where they had a vision to help create more of a community in Leeds based around the people pushing the 2 step garage sound. The 2nd Instalment of the DimSumRecords East West Flavour Show takes our friends on London onto Hong Kong Airwaves – A 2 Hour BUMPER Show by crew, community and label SHUFFLE N SWING. Talented Team members Strange Signals and Highrise bring the freshest sounds that reflect their wide taste levels of UK Garage to your ears.

Known to be the crew behind their role in pushing the revival of UKG via their Facebook group – creating such a tight knit community. Asides from playing a massive part in connecting many like minded people together – they are also a record label with 2 releases deep already. All their work just reflects their wicked ethos of bringing people together via their music. All this energy together along with their exquisite musical tastes definitely stimulated the idea of inviting them to showcase their sounds. ENJOY!

DimSumRecords Presents The East West Flavour Show on HKCR. A 2 hour Showcase Of The Sounds and Energy from both sides. 1 hour of talent we have crossed paths from Asia and the 2nd hour – our friends from where we are based in the UK and across Europe. Feeding our curiosity to discover new sounds, share interesting stories and make new friends.

Episode 001 we invite More Rice Records, Bangkok (TH) and Ollie Rant, London (UK)

More Rice Records (Mixed By Sarayu) – Thai Vinyl imprint founded by DOTT, Sarayu and Mikhail. Originated from the vibrant city of Bangkok. We really like their ethos which is reflected from their name – More Rice. An everyday saying across Asia and its way to connect with others across the region. With 3 vinyl releases under their belt connecting artists from Asia such as Mogwaa,Korea to working with the likes of Eric Volta. We are very excited with what they have in store including their forthcoming digital compilation Harvest Vol.1. A curation during this lockdown period consisting of artists all over Asia.

Ollie Rant – DJ/Producer from London and just someone who we are inspired by. By his potent UK Garage/2Step selection and productions. Releasing on multiple vinyl imprints recently like Hardline Records, 3 Feet Deep, Flattrax – he has played all around London in various venues. Someone who is known to put in good energy to the UK Garage community which includes his monthly radio shows on Balamii and Threads Radio. Exciting times for Ollie and a massive honour to have him on to kick off the instalment.
