“The last time my podcast played on HKCR was in 2022. Its named “Break Time,” which included some 160 BPM Jungle and Footwork tracks with a focus on a chill vibe. For This time, Thanks for Xingxing’s invitation and with bluebubble, I’m presenting something more important for me: bass and intensity. This mix is a 140 UK Bass set, starting with classic Dubstep beats and moves through tracks of Techno snd contemporary Bass Music, also features both old and new selections.
Nowadays barriers for club music is getting higher but bass is still the important common sense for people—it doesn’t require extensive knowledge, deep understanding, or a mastery of culture and scenes. It’s just about the bass.”

R9FIA RADIO w/ SDLR – 09/07/2024

SDLR is a Producer & DJ based in Suffolk , UK. While his music isn’t constrained to just one genre, it is clear to hear that Grime & 140 are at the forefront of his ideas and productions. In 16 bars he can take you from cutting edge new sounds to 2005-esque riffs to appease anyone who listens. His self titled EP was released in 2017 and he has been on an upward trajectory ever since, gaining support from huge names such as N-Type, Marcus Nasty, Spooky Bizzle, Logan Sama & even DJ Slimzee himself. His tracks have been played on stations such as BBC Introducing, Mode FM, De Ja Vu FM, Rinse FM and so many more. He is also on board with the Nottingham label Reloaded Sounds, releasing a multitude of EP’s and singles alike, as well as helping push and curate releases, the collective aim to push the boundaries of underground electronic music to the masses both nationally and globally. SDLR has so much more to give and he is only just getting started!

Blooming Hour is hosted by squish, who grew up in Hong Kong and is now based in Seoul. Over lockdown, she fell into a hole of breaks, jungle, and garage and never quite recovered. Vandalismus w/ zoy on helix & Daksah – 14/11/2023

zoy on helix hails from Henan, with the appearance of a floating creature with blurred vision. Synthesizer spikes and strange bedroom noises weave his fragile and puzzling dream cocoon; there is no trail to follow, heavy-duty drum machines and subdued hums constantly tearing and tangling, signaling his nearly fractured dancefloor personality. zoy likes to play a variety of sounds and Uptempo music driven by intimate emotions in offline scenes. As an Internet ghost he has left his mixtapes on radio stations such as R9FIA,SHCR and Cloak.

Daksah is the founder/nervous center of the internet organization R9FIA RADIO and ½ of the party project Black Eyed Susan. He has left his footprints on various platforms like AXIS, Injured Generation, SHCR, Cloak/Blackweb, Wassup Hockchew, etc, both in the style of delivering mixtapes and articles about music culture. His set style is unique to the fusion of the internet generation, and combines multifarious genres with no distinct boundaries. He chooses furious club beats as the base, grafted with either sinister or stagnant melodies. In the process of blurring the boundaries and aspiring to the extreme aesthetics of crushing the middle of the road, Daksah never stops exploiting.

Growing up alone in a harsh environment, Cold Hippie developed an uncanny resilience. The vast expanse of icy tundra became his playground, and the shimmering glaciers his companions. In this frozen solitude, he found solace in the whispers of the Arctic winds and the dancing lights of the Aurora Australis.

Together, they are Soggy.
