Traditional & Popular Music from Latin America part. 2 It is a continuation of this special extended to the Music that shaped me and is part of the history of many countries in Latin America. Folk, Bolero, Son, Rock, lullabies and Andean music is what in this show #10 I wanted to share as a piece of the musical memory that I share with Latin-Hispanic and Native Americans.

Felipe González Avila also known as RIP TXNY is an Artist, Music Producer and DJ from Santiago, Chile. His most recent performances were for Red Bull Music, and playing an opening set for King Woman at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York. Felipe now resides in NYC,
active in a mesh of different cultural communities through his music and pursuing his personal artistic career.

Atonia, Chilean artist and musician. At his young age he has already performed as a singer/producer in the Chilean underground scene. part of the Cyberghoulgang collective he stands out for his experimental approach and is projected as a prodigy producer of the new breed of Chilean music.

Valentina Mendoza, also known as (Valley Latini) was born in Bogota, Colombia singer, songwriter, drawing influences from pop, alternative, and electronic music. Her first full length album called “Attention Lover” Is a thoughtfully crafted 38 minute sound experience where Valley depicts her sordid love affairs, her views on transcending and delusion. In this album Valley experiments with sound design, synths along with vocal production, and making her own industrial samples. Valley has been written up in several magazines like The Fades, LA Weekly, and Earmilk. L “The bushwick Daily, The Hudson Valley News, Indie Wire, La Mezcla, and much more. Valley also made her satellite radio debut in 2021 by having three songs on Sirius XM’s Pitbull’s radio show featuring latin artists.

BRUNO GARCÍA (BORN DECEMBER, 13, 1993), BEST KNOWN AS BRUNOG, IS ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCERS, SONGWRITERS AND DJ ́S IN MÉXICO. HE WAS THE FIRST MEXICAN BEING NOMINATED AT “BEST URBAN SONG” IN THE LATIN GRAMMYS, FOR THE CO-PRODUCTION, AUTHORSHIP AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SONG “COQUETA” WITH THE GHETTO KIDS.

Niño Francois is a Mexican-Salvadoran music producer and DJ who is making waves in the Los Angeles music scene with his unique style that blends the music genres he grew up with in his household and those found within the African diaspora. In 2016, he founded Mafia Tropical, a music collective that brought together artists from different backgrounds to create sounds that blended elements of Latin music, African rhythms, and electronic beats. Niño became known for his innovative production style and his ability to connect the dots between cultures and genres. Overall Niños intent is to bring together a community of like minded souls that can interact on the dance floor to celebrate each other’s energy and culture.

7nado artist and musician Born in Santiago, Chile in ’96. He moved to New Jersey at the age of 7 with his family and since he was a child he was interested in the art of old albums and music in general. He grew up listening to 90’s rap and punk in Chile but when the USA arrived he found artists such as 50 cent, dipset, lil Wayne and Kanye west who have inspired him a lot in his latest singles. He confesses that since he was 13 years old when his mother bought him his first microphone he couldn’t stop experimenting.

He has become one of the leading acts in the Hard Dance scene in Latin America and North America.
As part of his trajectory, he founded BWBO (Be Weird, Be Original) a record label and agency with global impact, he is also the mastermind behind Loud Friends; a series of events which has the function of being a platform for emerging talents regardless of their music genre or nationality.

Entropica is Francisca Bascuñán, singer, composer, producer & sound engineer.

Entropica starts her music career in 2013 with Entropica Ep. Since then, she has released 4 albums in 7 years of work and live performance in Chile, Mexico, New York and Austin (SXSW last year). Entropica has released 5 albums: Entropica EP, Niña Nuclear, Al Espacio, Adentro and NARF, her first instrumental piece. Most of the video singles extracted from those records has been promoted by MTVLA, MTVUSA and several websites like Remezcla and Vice among others.

The video singles and art covers expose 3D animation, great costumes, and beautiful images turning out in to an audio- visual proposal. Among some other important collaborations, the art cover for the “Adentro” by the talented artist Apollonia Saintclair stands out. She made impressive illustrations inspired by the music album.

Last year Entropica released “Formas”, her sixth record. In the promotion of this album, She visited the United States for the third time, this time being part of the most important Latin festival, LAMC. In this visit to the States she was also part of the Remezcla event “Nuevo Noise”, an important escenario for latinos in NY.

The 2020 Entropica has won to Best Pop Artist and Best Art Cover by “Pulsar” , the most important chilean awards for music and art expressions.

Today Entropica is in promotion of “Sigma”, the first single “Monarca” has had a lot of attention in digital platforms, more than 50.000 views in youtube, and a great reception in press related to music and showbusiness. This year she has been part of Primavera Sound Barcelona, LAMC in NY and she is working in a new material.
