cotto center|骨董センター DUDE 朋友 – 08/09/2020

Transcript:
C: cotto center /古董店(left)
Y: yoshii /吉井 (right)

C: I’m cottocenter.
I brought a friend Yoshii who knows me well.

Y: My neighbor.
I’m Yoshii.

C: It’s the flow of this video, but after having a conversation, I’m going to live in a band and do my live.
People who do not understand Japanese do not understand the meaning of this video, so I will add an English translation later.

Y: You got a request from an internet radio in Hong Kong, right?

C: Right. It is recorded upon request from hkcr.

Y: I’ve never been to Hong Kong, but when I went to Taiwan, I intended to behave like a Chinese, remembering a minimum of Chinese. But how much is this at the stalls? When I asked him in Chinese, there was a time when the clerk at the stall returned in Japanese saying “250 yuan.”

C: That’s a common story. Right now, Mr. Yoshii talked about Taiwan, but I also want to go to Hong Kong.

Y: Do you know what Hong Kong is famous for?

C: What?

Y: I don’t know.

C: Laugh

Y: It’s a story that I want to go to Hong Kong next time.

C: When I go to Hong Kong, I want to see tall buildings.

Also, I recently learned about turtle jelly.

Y: Turtle jelly?

C: There is a black jelly that hardens the turtle’s nutrients.

Y: Yeah!

C: There are Japanese celebrities called Kano Sisters, but I’m interested when I hear that they will definitely eat when I go to Hong Kong. Turtle jelly seems to be good for beauty.

Y: What is the taste like?

C: It seems that it doesn’t taste very much, and it’s eaten with a sweet syrup.

Y: Is it the image of a suppon in Japan? (Nourishing tonic effect)

C: How is it? I’m sure you believe in the power of the turtle.

Y: In the Greater China, it seems that turtles are important.

C: Do you know Tofua?

Y: I’ve heard about it. I may have eaten.C: In Japanese, I write beans and flowers. It is eaten in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and I usually eat it well.
Before this day, I liked it so much that I brought it with Uber Eats and ate it the day before yesterday.

Y: So do you know stinked tofu?

C: I know.

Y: Returning to the story when I went to Taiwan, when I was walking down the street, I got a bad smell from 10 meters ago and said, “This is it!”

C: lol

Y: I thought I couldn’t eat it because it smelled so bad. When I try to eat it, the stinky tofu is really delicious.

C: It’s delicious. Sometimes it’s in the refrigerator of my parents’ house.

Y: Do you sometimes get in?

C: There are times when my family’s refrigerator contains mysterious food. Boiled locusts.

Y: Oh sure. Also, it looks like I put the vegetables in a blender. Not vegetable juice.

C: Isn’t it a coleslaw?

Y: Not a coleslaw. More messed up. Level that becomes powder when dried.

C: You eat strange things. Lol

Y: My parents are organic.

C: The place where your parents’ home is is a conscious area.

Y: The place where your parents’ home is was a lot of slopes.

C: Right now, there is a family home in a place called Kameda. It is a place where “Happy Turn” is made with sweets made from Japanese rice.

Y: I don’t know haha.

C: I don’t know. Lol

But I want to go to Hong Kong when the corona opens. Is there any place you want to go?

Y: I don’t say so much, but if I say strong, it’s Hong Kong.

C: Well then, it would be nice if we could both perform live in Hong Kong.
Yoshii also has a band.

Y: Right. Because I can speak English.

C: Really? I haven’t seen him speak in spite of the fact that he can speak various words!

Y: Ah.

C: I’m a graduate student right now, but I can’t keep up with all the graduate classes that are conducted in English. I’m ashamed of not being able to talk at all because there are many people around me who can talk. But you mean you can talk?

Y: Yes. I can speak English, but isn’t it time already?

C: You have about 10 minutes left. Lol

Y: Well, the elementary school and the junior high school we used to attend are the same. The high schools were close to each other.

C: It’s not so close to each other’s high schools, though. Well, it was about two stations away.

Y: The high school you were in was in the middle of the rice field, right?
It was like a religious facility.

C: It’s not a religious facility, though. Lol Belief is free, though. Faith is related to music. Ambient music, healing music, meditation, etc.

Y: Is that relevant?

C: I think there is. Yesterday I learned about an instrument called Sanukite.
There is a stone called Sanukite that can be taken in Kagawa Prefecture in Japan, but when they are lined up, it becomes like a metallophone, and it is a musical instrument that makes a sound by hitting it.

I happened to see Facebook of the person who sponsors the concert, but there is something like a faith that believes in the power of Sanukite, and people who are watching this now I was wondering if there are many people who are very interested in such things. Sounds of natural grass swaying, waves, etc. I also use the sounds that I field-recorded in songs, so I think that there is a close relationship between the work of calming myself and music.

Y: Yeah

C: I also learned about music and brain at a graduate school, and I knew this, but the pleasures of eating, having sex, and getting money are the “reward system” of the brain. It seems that it acts on that part, and the pleasure obtained with music seems to also act on that part.

Y: I see

C: But in addition to that person’s favorite music, there seems to be some people who do not respond to their favorite music, but most people are transmitted to their brain parts as pleasure. .. So, I recently found out that satisfying by eating rice and listening to music affect the same part.

Y: It means that it is your life to find something to be satisfied.

C: Since the story has become a little academic, do you have a stupid story? Please tell us a story that seems to be stupid all over the world.

Y: Yeah!

C: Or maybe you can ask me how I started working as a Cotto Center.

Y: That’s definitely good. Please tell us how the Cotto Center was formed.

C: The Cotto Center started live performances in May 2019, but it was in 2017 that they started making songs. But I gave one song to Sound Cloud and didn’t do anything. My acquaintance asked me to upload more songs, and I started to make a second song and gradually started to write it, and now it is.

It’s a very slow pace. As a musical experience up to that point, I was learning piano from 4 to 16 years old, and I was playing bass from 14 years
old. I’ll play after this, but I’m sorry that it’s a pretty minor performance. Lol

Y: I’m sorry. Lol

C: Then I want you to hit the drum, so please move.
