IA w/ TSH GOVENTING – 17/02/2022

This week Warsaw-based label IA return with their guest Tsh Goventing, who put out a lovely doomy, scuzzy record out at the beginning of last year.

The eerie nanotextured landscapes of static from Tsh’s self-titled release appear as little hints in the mix, a signature thread that acts as our route through the many interesting places we visit in 59 minutes. Imagine if you saw a bus and one of the destinations was “Polish Drill”? You’d ride that bus fam.

Weather Predictions│Vacuum – 07/02/2022

Cult duo VACUUM has been strictly a live performance project until now. Since 2013 Andrea Blake (ASPS/CHROME DOME) and Jenny Branagan (NUN) have fortified punk shows and techno dance floors alike with their own sensory brand of sub-bass, abnormal beats and mechanical scapes. You can feel their distinct sense for physicality throughout their anticipated self-titled debut album Vacuum, which was recorded and mixed by Josh Wells and mastered by Enyang Urbik in 2021.

Hounds of Pamir: Ruhail Qaisar invites Yesh – 07/01/2022

 Yesh is a Tibetan singer/artist born and raised in Switzerland.

 She is based in New York City where she has been living and working for the past 12 years. Her work moves within genre-defying music with years of studio work experience with various producers and classical musicians. 

Yesh has released several singles independently and her debut EP hour 2147 was released with Pique records in 2020. She has also contributed vocals for different audio-theatrical performances. 

Currently, she is working on a sound-based theater piece with the collective xenometok, which will be premiered on February 10th, 2022 at the Performing Arts Theater Gessnerallee in Zurich.

Hounds of Pamir: Ruhail Qaisar invites SKYLA – 05/11/2021

Hailing from Amman, Jordan, SKYLA is a multidisciplinary producer and vocalist as of new. Her first EP, EL WA7L, debut on Xquisite Releases London last April, with the sole signature embodied as a smoky haphazard auditory mirror of the seemingly violent and dreamlike sequence of scenes from real time life or heavy memory banks, stitched together with vast plasticity in method to represent defining moments encountered, yielding both polluted ambient and feverish industrial interpretations. Her untethered space is meant to be emotionally accurate, not sensible.
