Fixed Action Pattern presented by Osaka based artist Ryo Murakami @ryomurakami, a live performance recorded just earlier in November at Compufunkrecords, Experimetal Electronic, Drone and Dark Ambient sounds.

The B2B unit started blasting mixed-genre music on the dance floor in Tokyo from this June, quickly developed their style as bass/ghetto preacher in the middle of techno-overcrowded Tokyo underground club scene.
Their B2B style is to play anything with sweaty bass and trap / house vocals, selected mostly from ghettotech, edit, and bootleg music.
We talked about our cultural identity as B2B unit / promoter in Tokyo, how corona situation affects expression of self-realization, how to survive as DIY artist in overrated techno / house binary system of Tokyo club scene, in master level Japanese.

Sugai Ken, a sound musician that produces electrical noises inspired by Japanese folk traditions, has a distinctive style that is reminiscent of nightlife in Japan. Ken’s latest record, UkabazUmorezU (2017), which translates to ‘‘slow and steady wins the race”, has gained international praise from platforms such as Pitchfork.
His album On the Quakefish, recorded in 2016, both original and repressed version were immediately sold out. One of the most prominent Japanese labels, EM Records, released his Goto no Yoniwa (Garden in the Night), which further exposed him to international audiences.Ken’s works were featured on LOS APSON? charted throughout 2014, 2016 and 2017 and 2018. He also provided songs to Fabriclive (UK). In addition, Ken’s songs were frequently used by radios such as BBC Radio, NTS Radio and Red Bull Radio. He provided a mysterious mix to the Solid Steel (Ninjatune) series which had previously deeply impressed Rob Booth.
He is highly regarded as one of the few Japanese producers who can take a different approach to EU&US’s trends and has been invited to EU-tour in every year since 2018 (2020 has been postponed due to COVID19).
